The rate proposals are popping up, I bet sooner. Biking along the West side, theres already projects sprouting out and a couple of empty lots. I'm sure these will transform soon enough. If there is a megatall in the future, downtown would be the best location. Midtown is just too dense, and a megatall needs to standout fully. Plus it would complement the NY big 3(WTC 1,2,3). Like an NYC Pudong really.
