HPCL R&D Facility & RGIPT

Look here at the statement of a candidate for Lokasabha Election 2019 who was defeated in Vidhanasabha Election 2018.

Veerappa Moily transfered MRPL CSR funds for Lady Goshen Hospital construction
Quote:
“We all know that newly built Lady Goshen Hospital which is coming up. MRPL will share the cost from their CSR funds. When Veerappa Moily was the petroleum minister, he was in the forefront to transfer the CSR funds of MRPL for the construction of Lady Goshen Hospital. ...
What he got in return for the praise?

ಕೈ ಸಂಭಾವ್ಯರ ಪಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ರಾಹುಲ್ ಗರಂ

Why this person became angry? Who put words in his mouth? Which father & son combination tried/trying for Mangaluru & Udupi seats?

Who will replace Janardhan Poojary, Jayaprakash Hegde in DK, Udupi?
Quote:
Names of senior Congress leader, BK Hariprasad, former MP and Minister Vinay Kumar Sorake and former Chief Minister, Veerappa Moily are doing the rounds for the Udupi-Chikkamagalur ticket. Sources say if there is seat sharing between the Congress and JD(S), it may have to give up the Chikkaballapur seat to its coalition partner, leaving Mr Moily, the sitting MP, searching for a new constituency. Udupi could be the ideal choice for him as he belongs to the district and has the support of the rank and file of the party here, say sources.
Udupi: JD(S) to field Jayaprakash Hegde?

What trick he is trying to retain Chikkaballapur? Kumaraswamy-Rahul meeting leaves Karnataka Congress leaders sulking, Rahul, HDK will sort out coalition problems: Gowda - who brokered this direct contact? Whether for this favour Udupi-Chikkamagaluru seat is getting exchanged with Chikkaballapur. (read earlier news to know which party was eyeing for Chikkaballapur - Congress MPs worry over pact with JD(S) for 2019 Lok Sabha polls, fear giving up their seats).

This person was in charge of manifesto preparation team of his party for Karnataka Assembly Election 2018. Why was 'Petroleum University' for Mangaluru missing in his party's manifesto? Was it intentional? Why does not he want Petroleum University in Mangaluru? Whether he wants Mangaluru to be filled with just chemical industries and all benefits of it like high end jobs to go to the parched region? Earlier he stated that petrochemical complex will create 6 lakh jobs (Indian Express 30th December 2013). Why did he take away these jobs to the parched city in the form of HPCL R&D facility & RGIPT and just dumped useless chemical industries on us?

His party manifesto included - Create Mangalore next Silicon Valley of Indian and BPO hub of Karnataka, We will shift base of CRZ headquarters to Mangalore from Bangalore, Have air connectivity between Mangalore and Hubbali, Take up expansion of Mangalore airport runway from 2450 to 3050 meters, We will strengthen the New Mangalore port, Double the railway tracks from Mangalore to Mumbai and Mangalore to Bengaluru, We will take up upgradation of Mangalore Railway Stations to International level, Setup a port development authority for development of Mangalore ports, for focusing on small and medium ports, We will set up a dedicated SEZ with an area of 3,985 acres of which 1,800 acres is under possession at Mangalore, Encourage for Religious and Health tourism in Mangalore, Setup Beach Tourism in Mangalore Udupi and Karwar districts. Coastal Beach Tourism Authority, We will initiate the Formation of BITA (Baikampady Industrial Township Authority) in Mangalore, Create an Educational Hub- Mangalore –Konaje- and Udupi. (Current Chief Minister's party manifesto had only two things for Mangaluru - Specific corridors of industrial development Goa-Karwar-Mangalore, SEZ at Mangalore (God knows what is this SEZ)).

"Mangalore next Silicon Valley of Indian and BPO hub of Karnataka" does not this sound ridiculous after taking all research facilities supposed to come to Mangaluru to the parched region? If this person was so much involved in Mangaluru's developments then he would have known that MSEZ phase-II expansion area is now notified for MRPL's expansion. From where does he get (3,985-1,800) acres for MSEZ as stated in manifesto? And he still talks about Mitsui LNG Terminal while MoU with it is cancelled and new entrant is H-Energy. Why not he keeps himself updated if he is so much interested in Mangaluru?

Coming back to Lady Goschen hospital you yourself find out who first issued statement to news papers about MRPL CSR funds.

MRPL gives ` 21 crore to upgrade Lady Goschen hospital (7th Aug 2012)
Quote:
The ONGC-MRPL administrative board has decided to provide Rs 21 crore to the district administration to reconstruct Lady Goschen hospital. The six-floor (basement + ground + 4 floors) state-of-the art ultra modern building would come up at 1.5 lakh square foot area. The building would be constructed after demolishing (already partially demolished) about 30,000 squre foot area (of the 90,000 square foot) of the 164-year-old Lady Goschen Hospital. When completed, the hospital would also have a state-of-the art burns centre, according to a press release issued by MLA and Deputy Speaker N Yogish Bhat.
Whether the Chikkaballapur migrated politician had made any statement on this before the former Mangaluru South MLA's statement on 7th Aug 2012? Whether a person who bragged so much on unmaterialized projects like LNG Terminal, School of Finance & Analytics and blah blah for days together can keep quiet on this project? Do you believe he arranged for MRPL CSR funds?

What had happened is former MLA had learnt a lesson after denial of funds from the Andhra donor. He kept everything secret till funds were sanctioned by MRPL authorities which the former minister was not even aware of. If the former minister had known it who knows he would have diverted this fund also to the parched region.

If you have read earlier news papers no where there was mention of any mobilephone park in Chikkaballapur. It was included recently - Mobile phone components industry in Chikkaballapur. Why politicians are suddenly showing so much interest in Chikkaballapur? If we make an enquiry on all recent benami transactions we may know the reason.

And the other politician of same calibre is on running marathon. Wherever he smells a scent of defeat escapes from there.

BJP may deny ticket to some sitting MPs; Shobha keen on state politics
Quote:
Gowda is considering contesting from Udupi-Chikkamagaluru as he is unsure of his victory from Bengaluru North, which he represents.
This politician was born & built his political career in Tulunadu is now Chemicals & Fertilizers Minister but no word on sanctioning of 'Central Fertilizer Quality Control and Training Institute' or 'Central Institute of Chemical Engineering and Technology' to Mangaluru. Karnataka's only fertilizer factory is in Mangaluru and many chemical industries are also here. Can you expect him to sanction a Regional Fertilizer Control Laboratory at the minimum? There is no hope that he will not follow the other one and say "Mangaluru has fertilizer plant so the parched city should have Central Fertilizer Quality Control and Training Institute". He played some saviour drama on KIDU - CPCRI CPCRI Research Centre and International Coconut Gene Bank for South Asia. But don't be surprised if he says "Okay, I will also shift 'Indian Statistical Institute' from the parched city to Udupi"!
