My point is that when you look at a rendering of flat colors, it doesn’t do it justice. From the perspective of a pedestrian walking around, it will make almost no difference if the top half of the building is brick or brick-colored plaster. But when you look at the rendering, it’s from an impossible angle where you see the whole building at once.
Raul is a great photographer, and must be climbing on top of some building to get good pictures of the entirety of the tower. The real life view will be different.

That's fine, but my point is the street and river levels are the worst part, and the HDRC seems to agree. This design was only approved with the following condition, among others: "That traditional materials such as brick, limestone and other masonry materials should be used at the River Walk and street levels and arranged in a way that provide an interactive, human scale that relates to pedestrians at the street and river levels."
