Had an interesting sidebar discussion a couple of days ago with one of the transit managers at the Northern Hills open house. Turns out that they're looking seriously into revising the Route 17 once Sunalta Station comes into revenue service. Everything west of Sunalta will become obsolete for Route 17 once the 202 West comes online, of course, and naturally the next stop east of Sunalta Station on the 202 West is the Downtown West End, so they're giving a lot of consideration to moving the route from
its current Sunalta-14 Street-downtown alignment to one that would run down 11 and 12 Avenues SW all the way to the East Fourth underpass before tootling through East Village and back to Centre Street.
