This does seem to be moving forward.
I wonder what this means for the designs, footprints and size (height) of the buildings.

Trees to be saved at downtown Austin site

After reaching a compromise with Austin city officials, a development company says it will move forward with a new design that allows several large oak trees to stay rooted on the site of the former Green Water Treatment Plant downtown.
However, the deal to keep the trees comes at a cost: Space for public safety offices and nonprofit use have been eliminated.
