see, as you might gather, I have a genuine appreciation for good modern architecture. The movement produced some truly great buildings and had a lot of ideas that were worth adding to the architectural vocabulary. The thing is though, statements like this are
infuriating to people who don't like modernism, and the modernist crowd tends to think a bit too highly of itself a little too often.
