Houston in 80s Architectural Forum mag
There was an article in AF in the mid-80s on future development for downtown Houston, had some models and renders of the district. From what I can remember, they were expecting a 'boom' of 10 million square ft of office towers in the next ten years, with about a dozen 60-80 storey buildings.
