Cool tool. I used to find the 20 largest city populations / all those above 15 million: (as measured from the centre of a metro's core city - you can get higher numbers for some of them by cheating the location a bit or using a smaller neighbouring city/suburb)

1. Dhaka 39,154,270
2. Kolkata 37,617,390
3. Tokyo 36,432,460
4. Delhi 33,976,750
5. Guangzhou 33,032,860
6. Shenzen 30,460,010
7. Jakarta 29,237,610
8. Cairo 27,018,100
9. Mexico City 24,434,680
10. Manila 24,433,970
11. Seoul 24,206,030
12. Sao Paulo 22,905,830
13. Shanghai 22,006,430
14. Mumbai 21,780,630
15. Osaka 19,556,730
16. Beijing 19,327,910
17. New York 18,535,350
18. Chengdu 17,468,350
19. Moscow 16,765,900
20. London 15,749,280

Interesting how it compares to the list of the world's largest metro areas as defined by their local statistics agencies: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_o..._by_population

Not sure how accurate it is though - I was getting less than half the stated metro populations for cities like Karachi and Lagos, so I'm not sure where the discrepancy is coming from.
