The building’s most distinctive feature is a passageway running through it, connecting East Commerce and the River Walk, with retail space on the sides. Overall, the project will have 16,000 square feet of retail, including some on the River Walk. Henderson said he’s looking for independent businesses to fill the space, such as a boutique winery.
