I hope Stewart Park ( a wonderful Ithaca landmark at the south end of Cayuga Lake) gets the overdue renovations it deserves. From the Ithaca Journal:

Ithaca -- A presentation of "Architectural Sketches and Plans for Building and Landscape Improvement" at Stewart Park is planned for 6 p.m. Monday in the Borg Warner Room of the Tompkins County Public Library, 101 E. Green St.

Claudia Brenner Design and landscape architect Rick Manning will present design plans, cost information, and implementation proposals for a series of building and landscape improvement projects for the park.

Information will be presented on the following building and projects: Cascadilla Boathouse, the small pavilion, Wharton Studio, the large pavilion, the concession building and a new park maintenance building. Numerous park landscape improvement projects will also be presented, including the Mayor Stewart Memorial Flagpole Garden, the performance pier and pavilion plaza, an all-children's playground, the newly constructed Cayuga Waterfront Trail.

July 4 is the 90th anniversary of the dedication of Stewart Park.
