I'll be curious to see how they move forward without a formal convention center plan. To your point, the footprint is relatively small, but they'll still have to figure out where to put the amount of meeting space they'll need to match the room count. I'm guessing 35,000+ sq ft. or so. And, FYI, that's why both JW and Fairmont have substantial podiums -- so they can deal with large amounts of contiguous meeting space.
