This building just deserved better. After the incredible sums of money put into it, to just throw away the top like an afterthought is ridiculous. But they were set on cutting things one way or another. It's sad. Maybe somewhere down the line (years from now), with the city well on its way to being supertall central and some towers rising higher than this one, the emphasis on the spire being a great part of that will come into play. They can't make the building any taller, but they can make it better.
