I work for Starwood, and our employee site, which announces all new builds and proposals years in advance, mentions nothing about this hotel. I'm showing W's proposed to open in 2012 and even later, and there are lots proposed, but nothing about a San Antonio W. All I show for TX is a W Austin hotel opening January 1st 2010. For anyone who is interested, here is a list of all new builds for Starwood.
