Well, that's normal. Even on this forum, we can see it in conversations about the economy. Every other province's economy is legitimate - ours is somehow an illusion or an unintended consequence of federal policies for which we deserve no recognition or credit.
"You're only doing so well because of the oil. And that'll run out." - yeah, and every other province is only doing so well because of X, and that too will run out. And people give a free pass to cities that are all but completely dependent on government welfare industries like defense, etc.
