I wasn't aware that the city had gotten everyone out of the annex yet. They have moved a lot of people to Municiple Plaza and other city buildings so that it can be taken down for surface parking (for now). This piece of land is the bread and butter for CoSA's growth downtown.

In other news, the Kmart site may not be the home of the future CoSA Police Department. The city is being told that the site is too small for what needs to be built.

I really hope that they can find a way to make it work. There is no property downtown that will meet their needs. I don't understand why they cannot build vertical (including a garage) instead of a sprawling campus with surface parking. It would be a shame if the Police department was moved outside of downtown.

I guess we will just have to wait and see.
