When I was small child my Grandpa would take me around and pay his bills. We would take the Metro Bus downtown and he would go to Niagara Mohawk and pay the power bill. Bell Telephone to pay his phone bill. Then before we would go home we would stop at the Mohawk on Chippewa. He would get us hot dogs with hot sauce (Called a Redhot and not a Coney). He would get a shot of whiskey in a beer. It was called something but I do not remember... My favorite thing was once a year we would go to City Hall and he would take us up to the Observation deck. Buffalo was much different place in 1972.
