Lone Star rehab project entering San Antonio approval process

If the project clears the hurdles this week, it will still be subject to final approval from the HDRC after the developers incorporate the commission’s suggestions into their design plans. If Zoning Commission gives it a thumbs-up, City Council will hold a final vote on Dec. 1 over the developers’ request to change the zoning from heavy industrial to an infill development zone, which would allow for a variety of commercial and residential uses.
