A few of us (Ayreonaut, Copes, Jeddy1989, and myself) have met in real many few times. We tend to have forum meets about once per month. Ayreonaut is back in Calgary for the summer now but we can certainly arrange another meet to welcome you and show you around.
Since you're new to the city, I'd recommend a lunch-time meet downtown for a quick bite to eat, then a walking tour of downtown, then a driving tour of a couple of the more outlying sights (Signal Hill, Cape Spear, Southside Road, etc.).
