Paris, for its beauty. No city of that size is as dynamic yet ripe with history as Paris (if my Rome was as tidy and innovative as Paris, it could be a rival, but it would still be much smaller).
Then, a noteworthy second: Madrid for its nightlife. I still have to see a city matching Madrid's nocturnal activity.
