I was going to say Woodstock VT is my nomination, on account of being a perfect time capsule. There isn't a single non-heritage building anywhere. Remove the cars (and pavement), and you could think you're ~100 years ago.

(Some buildings may not be actually as old as they look, but you can't really tell; if some are newer, then they were built in very very good imitation of the vintage styles.)

Here's the heart of the village. This street view is from exactly a year ago, and it's been at least 2.5 years since I've been there, so if anyone decides to explore the streets I can't 100% guarantee that there wasn't something new/ugly that was built in the meantime...... (though I really doubt it could have happened.)
