The Inkster interchange was not suitable for CentrePort for a number of reasons:

1 - Cannot be upgrade beyond the current two-lane road.
2 - Left turns needed for three of the four direction changes.
3 - No ability to add high speed ramps.
4 - Not suitable for Headingley by-pass as it is too far north.
5 - Overpass still required for Saskatcheawn Ave rail line.

If Centerport gets developed like the vision, Inkster will get used more as a local route for the immediate surrounding areas.
