That's a shame about the observation deck at the hotel. I would have loved to have gone up there. Living just an hour and 20 minutes away, I can't justify staying in a hotel there. Even on occassion when we're in town for 4 days during July, we drive back and forth.

I wonder if the green, red, and white colors have anything to do with the colors of the Mexican flag?

And I remember atleast one year the tower's top was lit with red, white and blue in July for Independance Day.
