The Thrifty ice cream plant. When I first started working in the area (gosh, practically 10 years ago), I got excited when I stumbled upon this, but was disappointed to learn that they don't do tours or tastings. Yeah, it's not fancy ice cream, but hey, if they did tours and tastings, I'd be all up in there.
I don't know if they're the WORLD'S best fish tacos, but they are indeed pretty damn good.

The underpass I drive through every weekday on my way home from work.
And now, my drive home from work. This particular spot is about halfway through my drive; it only takes me about 25 minutes to get home from work, and I don't even take the freeway.
