Ha so now rrskylar is some kind of socialist promoting free access for all? From each according to his abilities, to each according to his needs right rrskylar? LOL. It's like when people who are largely conservative suddenly care about the homeless because of foreign aid. "Why are we sending money to _____ when there's needy people here in Canada" says the guy who's never advocated giving to the needy in Canada, ever. When were there ever free attractions anyway?

Pretty much all of these places have a "free day" or a discount day. Indigenous people can enter the CMHR free. There's also plenty of festivals that offer free entertainment at the Forks or old market square, Manyfest on Broadway, etc. Smaller art galleries like the Plug-In have free admission.
