What a great thread. Beyond the innumerable amount of skylines spread across the USA, this thread also shows that skyscrapers weren't confined only to the states, Brazil and Canada did a pretty good job too.
Montreal never really tried to build a skyline in the traditional sense as its tallest pre-war buildings were scattered across the Old Montreal (Old downtown) and the new Downtown.
