I don't get the shade complaint. Shade is awesome for 8 months of the year here and lowers AC bills. The City even gives developers FAR bonuses for shading the sidewalks around their buildings.

I have like 10 hackberries that are going to rot from the inside and crush my roof one day I won't even get rid of because they dropped the average summer temp in one of my rooms by 10 degrees.
