Yes ... it is proven that Alberta is the only wealthy society on earth..
If you don't have oil you may as well give up and and be satisfied with the status quo. Why look at building the economy if you haven't any oil. Its IMPOSSIBLE.... just IMPOSIBLE... it can't be done. Only if you have oil can you have a healthy self supporting econony.
Please ignore that many examples to the contrary .. as it defies the simplistic view of the local lefties...
For example Minnesota has tons of oil.
