There are three types of French immersion programs in MB
1. Classes taught in French but in a mixed English/French school.
2. A full French school for students with English as a first language.
3. A full French school for students for first language in French (Francis).
There are pros and cons on both sides of the first two choices. If the third choice is applicable, chances are you are fluent in French yourself as a parent.
