Miami:
I love the diversity, the flavors, the way the sea breeze smells in the afternoon, the summer thunderstorms, the buzz, the hope that springs eternal unlike any other place I've ever been. Anything is possible here.
I hate the traffic, the exclusivity and segregation that diversity breeds, the lack of a cohesive plan for the future of this place, the lack of a sense of history or place that comes from having over 50% not even born in the US, much less Miami itself.
Much of what I love and hate about the place is related and oftentimes a direct result of each other.

That's what did it in the end. Not the money, not the music, not even the guns. That is my heroic flaw: my excess of civic pride.
