Using the address listed in the filing - 76 I-35 SB SRVRD - Google shows it as the lot next to Homewood Suites on the right side. Using 76 East Ave. (which is also the I-35 SRVRD) as the address it puts it next to Homewood Suites on the left side. That was the site of the Rainey St./Kimber Modern hotel proposals in between the Homewood Suites and the Cambria. But since there is nothing but undeveloped sites immediately south of Homewood Suites, there could be some ambiguity in the address they list on the site plan. The fact that the site plan application for a 14-story hotel (Cambria) expired and a new one for another 14-story hotel (Fairfield) was filed shortly after suggests that it may be the same project. But we should get more info in a couple weeks when the site plan goes into review. As soon as it can be determined that this is a different project, we can split these posts off into a new thread.
