As much as people yearn for a freeway system to speed of commutes. Spending an extra 10 mins to travel the length of Bishop Grandin is nothing. Go to a major city with real traffic problems, such as LA, and then we'll talk about Winnipeg traffic.
To me its more about safety. Eliminating intersections on high speed routes.
People in Winnipeg don't realty get that, for some reason. Weather related delays are more of an issue in winter. Nothing to do with the road itself. Having HOV lanes won't help any of that.
Wrong thread for this topic. I don't really want to get into anyways. We can argue forever about it haha
