Would love for this to have legs but not convinced that it does. The "future park" already has some development on it (expensive townhomes) and is not controlled by the same developer if memory serves. The renderings don't reflect some of the other recent development in the area, so I'm wondering how recent these images might be. Most importantly, it's rare for real projects to get their first airing on an architect's website rather than a neighborhood meeting, permit pull, zoning hearing, etc. All that said, I will do what I can to will it into existence as it appears to be among the most thoughtful and daring projects I've seen proposed in years. This would solidify and catalyze the waterfront in ways that are hard to imagine.
