There's a flurry of activity down in that hole today. The large mat for the shear wall on the south side of the block is being poured right now. You can also see the holes excavated for several pile caps near the southwestern corner of the lot. The excavations for the pile caps exposed the heads of auger cast piles that were drilled and poured earlier, and you can clearly see those piles on the webcam at
http://www.oxblue.com/client/brasfie...e/1010midtown/. One of the portable crane operators told me that many of those piles were drilled over 90 feet down, so this foundation has some very deep legs.
