I emailed the author of the story to see if anything else was said about the hotel project or a possible change in the facade of the mall (i.e. replacing nasty teal for brick or something a little more in line with DT SA)...
She said that there was little information for her about those things (which she originally reported on). She said that the developer could not even give her a definite start date on the renovations...
