It would be great yes, however, if it did bypass it would be preferred to have bridges, obviously. However, I would be OK with level crossings considering how lightly traveled that rail line is; of course though it could ramp up as a major N/S corridor for CN Rail again if the need arose. Then it would be an insanely BAD idea. 6 of one, half-dozen of the other kind of thing.
I mean having two rail crossings and a major highway intersection within 3kms would be a nightmare. If they were all at grade.
