Overpass Project Waiting for Warm Weather

It may be a few weeks yet before there's any activity on the Topsail Road overpass project. While other projects in the region are in progress, the next stage of the overpass cannot be done if temperatures fall below freezing. Transportation officials say that pouring a concrete bridge deck has to be done in consistently warmer temperatures when there is no risk of freezing.
The completion time is late summer or early fall.
