It really depends on how many spectators will come from other countries. Seeing as these games will be held in the US, people may feel more secure traveling to see them than they would had they been held in say Russia.
I really don't think there will be an issue, though. I'm sure the airport took into consideration future air traffic growth when they rebuilt the airport, so airlines should have no problem adding flights if they notice others getting booked up. A lot of people already fly in and out of Atlanta for international flights because it's so much cheaper (my friend's flight from Paris to Atlanta in December was tremendously cheaper than Paris > Atlanta > Birmingham), so the real issue might be getting the international visitors to town.
