The first is of the new, still under construction, urban Deck Park with its new trees in full spring mode with Museum Tower towering over it.
The second image is a vista on McKinney Avenue in the heart of the Uptown/Downtown corridor; Museum Tower rises magnificently on the left hand side of the screen.
New towers planned to rise in the upcoming months in the same general vicinity as the 2nd image include the Cesar Pelli Towers (twin towers as currently planned with one around 20+ stories and the other 30+ stories), the VII Tower by Harwood International at around 29 to 30 stories, the newly announced with fall groundbreaking of the mixed-use KDC Tower at 23 stories, a 19 story Uptown apartment building planned to go on top of an existing multi-level parking garage, and resumption of the 22 story Stoneleigh Terrace residential building. Additionally on the south side of Woodall, Spire Realty is making noise about possibly starting either its 21 story or 33 story tower as well.
