Better to plan early. Have you been here before? Those areas are very suburban/not exciting, yes, including the Domain. It's basically a mall with some offices. I would recommend coming and experiencing the real Austin for yourself. I think you'll find there's a reason most people our age and in our industry live close to downtown.
