I wonder what this means for the Riverview PAC? Right now, the city of Moncton provides assistance to the Riverview PAC, and the PAC website is structured very much like the one for the city of Moncton - accessible and transparent to residents (and development geeks such as us).

If the Southeast Regional Services Committee takes over, I fear that we will no longer have ready access to planning documents online like we do currently. Riverview might fall into an information availablity vacuum (like exists for Dieppe, Shediac etc). This would be sad.

For example, we only became aware of Promenade Neuf in Dieppe when they started clearing the land and people started asking questions. The plans for the Junction Urban Village in Moncton on the other hand were well known for a couple of years before shovels hit the ground.

It would be sad for Riverview to disappear into an information black hole...........
