Riverview has passed their 2020 budget and it includes an $8M road project to alleviate traffic congestion on Coverdale Rd. The new Bridgedale Boulevard is a 1.4km stretch through undeveloped land between Gunningville Boulevard and Runnymead.

$8M does not sound like nearly enough for this stretch of road (roundabout included at Gunningsville Blvd.) unless the budget spills into 2021 and even 2022. According to the Department of Transport and Infrastructure, the cost of the roundabouts would vary but estimated they would range from $500,000 for a small single-lane roundabout to "multi-million dollars" for the larger.
