pallisters whole governance is tax breaks and giveaways for the wealthiest, this is just a continuation. like he gives a shit about infrastructure, budgets, or services... we don't have a government, we have a group administering the giveaway of public assets to the wealthy. they can just afford to move wherever if things get too bad here, or pay for services that they cut for everyone else (with money they stole from us)
