I took the picture above in the late 80's. I think I am on the western end of Melrose. The building next door had just been demolished and this well preserved sign was seeing the light of day for the first time in years. I can't find any info on the Block washing machine.

The artwork is probably far more memorable than the washer. Knowing a little more about the store advertising it could be interesting. "A.C . . ." "432 So. B"
Is that the only image of the billboard?
