H-E-B LP plans to build a 150,000-square-foot, five-story tech center at its San Antonio headquarters that will house 1,000 employees, the company announced today. San Antonio-based Lake Flato Architects will design the San Antonio project, which will have similar features to the Austin facility, including open collaboration areas, individual work spaces and meeting rooms equipped with advanced technology and video conferencing capabilities. Construction is scheduled to begin by summer 2020 and is tentatively set for completion by summer 2022
