Hmm.. interesting idea.

Although it would cost an insane amount of money it would be nice if the Yonge part of Line 1 could be made into a 4 track or double decker tunnel so that there could be a Yonge express train.. say something that only went Richmond Hill Centre -> Finch -> Sheppard -> Eglinton -> St. Clair -> Bloor -> College -> Dundas -> Union or something like that. That's probably an absurdly expensive pipe dream that will never, never, never, ever happen, though, and there's probably much better usages that could be found for that sum.
