Don't get me wrong, I think the crushed can has served it's time & new hockey economics demand a new rink ... just wished it looked "new". Let the old buildings look old & do your best to preserve them but let the new stuff look of their time. I think it just makes for a rich urban fabric.

I thought someone earlier mentioned that the design came out of Winnipeg & that they designed the Mendel in Saskatoon? Am I mistaken?
