Someone mentioned this somewhere and I cannot find it but here is the article.
Quote:
The 20-story Riverview Towers at 111 Soledad St. may be getting a new owner, just as its seeking to add a rooftop bar and convert at least some of it space to a hotel.
The property is under contract, a person with knowledge of the deal — but not involved in it — confirmed. The person, who asked not to be identified out of concern for maintaining relationships in the local commercial real estate market, did not know who the proposed buyer is.
A request for conceptual approval for a new rooftop bar on the building's 14th and 15th floors will go before the city of San Antonio's Historic and Design Review Commission on Wednesday. Plans call for a new trellis structure over the proposed bar, as well as a new street-level canopy, updated facades and several new signs to display the name and logo of a future hotel.
The property is currently an office building. While plans submitted to the HDRC describe the project as a "San Antonio Dual Brand Hotel," they do not make it clear whether the entire building will become a hotel or whether part of it will remain office space.
The project has been designed by New Orleans-based architecture company John T. Campo & Associates Inc.
