Isn't it typical? You wait ages for a 1948 Julius Shulman photoset showing a building designed by Matcham and Heitschmidt, and then three come along at once . At first I thought the sign said "Portrait Rats Inc", but I think that "Portrait Arts Inc" is more likely. The corner brick detail is very similar to the Polaris Pictures building we saw two days ago. This is "Job 289: Matcham and Heitschmidt, Robert Barry Offices (Los Angeles, Calif.),1948".

Both from Getty Research Institute

I haven't managed to find the location of this building, does anyone know where it is/was? Portrait Arts only appears in the 1956 CD, and that's at 435 N Roxbury Avenue. Also, was Robert Barry any relation to David Barry Jr/Sr?
