I'm quite impressed with Daniel Corp. buying Financial Center (17 stories in the Financial District) and moving their headquarters downtown.
They've mentioned that they're bullish on downtown development... Brown Marx, Liberty National?????
Anyway, the story mentions that 50 employees will move to Financial Center; more customers in the city center!
I have to say, considering the massive developments they've produced throughout the Birmingham metro area (mostly retail and single family)... I can't wait to see what they do in downtown.
Great news to get CBD office space filled with a quality, local entity.
