Gearbox Software plans to move its headquarters from Plano to Frisco at the completion of a new office building development near Toyota Stadium.
The software company plans to move into the 166,051-square-foot building at Main Street near the Dallas North Tollway in Frisco Square by next year, which will be an exciting move for Gearbox, said President Randy Pitchford.
"We're convinced that Frisco Square is the perfect environment for Gearbox Software's new headquarters and we are eager to break ground, build out and move in so that we may join the community and bring everything we can to the city as a Frisco business and as Frisco citizens," said Pitchford, in a written statement.
The development will be the latest addition to the 147-acre mixed-use development, Frisco Square. The project includes a five-story parking structure and retail, restaurant and fitness amenities. Dallas-based O'Brien Architects is the project designer.
At the completion of the project, Frisco Square will total as much as 4.4 million square feet of apartments, office, retail and government space within the pedestrian-friendly development.
